Summer is gradually approaching. The scorching heat not only impacts the working environment and health of workers but also poses a threat to the proper operation of mobile crushers. Excessive temperatures in high temperatures can easily lead to equipment failures, making it essential to properly protect your crusher from heatstroke.

In high temperatures, due to the principle of thermal expansion and contraction, crusher components expand, causing increased friction and misalignment at the interface between components. This not only impacts production progress but also increases temperatures. High temperatures also increase the temperature of the crusher's lubricating oil, reducing its oiliness and viscosity, leading to localized oil film damage, reduced lubrication between components, and reduced bearing capacity. The crusher itself also heats up, making it prone to unpredictable abnormalities and failures.

 

Precautions for Mobile Crusher Operation in Summer
1、 Perform daily maintenance on the crusher, promptly clean dust from the crusher body, and ensure good heat dissipation.
2、Regularly inspect the crusher's cooling system and change the engine oil regularly, using high-temperature-resistant lubricants to ensure smooth operation.
3、The equipment should be equipped with the appropriate engine oil viscosity grade. Generally, the viscosity grade should be slightly higher in summer than at other times. The engine oil and other lubricants should be replaced with summer oil, using the appropriate amount of oil. Check frequently for leaks.
4、During high summer temperatures, equip each machine with one or two fire extinguishers as a precaution.
5、Always check the temperature of critical components during operation. If the temperature is too high, stop the machine for a rest or take appropriate measures to cool the components. The crusher should also be placed in a cool, shady environment whenever possible to avoid exposure to direct sunlight, which can have adverse effects on the equipment.
